The Hay session

I saw this stack of hay and had the idea of using this as a background to one of my sessions. So to see how it would look, since I was so anxious to see, I used, yet again, my daughter as my model!!

Travis

This was a fun session because I have never taken professional photos of a guy before, except my brother, husband, and brother-n-law, so this was cool! I love the place I picked for him to take the photos at. He loves to work out so I also tried to take photos of him that showed off his muscles :)

Now for these photos coming up, I had fun with the editing and made these photos have a cool color to them. Half way black and white and half way color. I think it looks awesome!

Tana Lyle

Tana is my bestfriend! We were bestfriends in middle school and hung out all the time at each other's home. But as usual, as we got older, life took us apart, mainly cause I moved. Fourteen years later, we find each other again and we happened to live 10 mins. apart from each other. We are together everyday when she isn't at work! She has 4 kids just like I do so you can imagine how it is when we go to Walmart together with all our kids :) For this photo shoot, I found this beautiful lake with an old boat house and thought it would make some beautiful backgrounds! We had fun, as usual, making these photos. She is one of my models I use a lot for when I need to practice taking pictures! Or for when we want to have fun fixin' ourselves up and take pics!!

Danyelle

This is my beautiful daughter, Danyelle. She is my model most of the time :) Yesterday afternoon I just felt the desire to take pictures and grabbed Danyelle and said, "Come on girl, let's take some pictures! Put on a pretty dress!" And of course she was like, "Aww, mom, really? I'm playing a game." But of course Mommy won and we got some awesome photos taken!! :)

I love these pictures! This is a chimmey from a house that burned down years ago. This is the only thing left, but I thought it would make an awesome background for a photo!

Heather session

This was my photo session with Heather. She is a beautiful girl and I love her smile. I had fun at this shoot because I found an awesome window in the building we were at. Though I have photo shoot at this location before, it was my first time noticing the cool window, which happens to be a food & drink cession window for the soccer field there. I love it!! And I also love the background colors in these photos.
